We’ve put together a quick summary of what you can expect from a first meeting with our team for our most common services, including fees and what to bring with you. It isn’t mandatory, but a little preparation before we meet can often help us move forward with your case much faster.
Bankruptcy
First, you’ll meet with Monica, our Bankruptcy Coordinator, to discuss your financial situation. It’s important that you let us know all of the details of your money troubles—the more we know, the more we can help.
What to Bring
A list of all current debts, including your creditors’ names and types of debts
Your most recent pay stub
A list of your questions and concerns about bankruptcy.
Fees A basic bankruptcy case typically costs $1,200, with more complex cases costing more. Court costs not included in estimates.
You’ll meet with Dale Bohannon to discuss your estate planning needs. Don’t worry too much about account numbers, balances, or appraisals—we’ll collect specifics as we move forward—but a little information to start off with will help get the ball rolling faster.
What to Bring
A list of your assets, property, retirement accounts, etc.
A list of your concerns, wishes and questions about estate planning.
Fees Our package rate for drafting a basic will, powers of attorney, and living will ranges from $600 for a single person to $900 for a married couple. We’ll never recommend a more complicated set of documents than you need.
“You always hear about attorneys preying on folks in difficult predicaments, but Dale turns the tables on all of those old stereotypes. Along with his staff, he has worked tirelessly to represent me during my bankruptcy, and has always been quick to answer questions and put out fires along the way. I hope I never have to consider bankruptcy again, but if you ever do, he’s the person to have on your side.”
